ok... i haven been blogging for a bloody long time so time for a short one.

it's gonna be busy busy semester.... and yesh! i'm gonna graduate!!!!!!! woohoo....

busy busy arh.... with internship as well as helping someone.
i just remember i haven started writing my internship report hahahaha...

one-line continuous drawing
there's only one start and end in this drawing, can u spot them? haha.
dont doubt the drawing, it's really made up of a single (ONE & ONLY) line.
this drawing cost me 8hours of my time (spread over 3days);
trial and error, re-drawing and of cos a failure product.
made a mess in my room and yes it is exams period (give me a break~)
first time doing one-line drawing and probably will be the last.
felt like killing myself while i was drawing.
waterpainting probably suits me better =(

i still prefer the failure product, at least my YOG mascot and panda look better haha...
oh wells.

cleared 2 modules (100% CA) on monday with one guaranteed an A grade.
phew wad a relief.

left with 2 weeks before exams kick start.

7 May: Feedback Control System

tmr is the last day for me to travel to school woohoo... i love the feeling of not having to travel 4hrs each day.

anyway been using mere 1-2 hrs each day to study.
it's really time to start mugging~
and bury my head amongst the books.

cant wait for holidays to be here ("sigh" i have to do internship)
but at least i have time to colour up my life =）

finally a new year has come. time flew past real quick. Memories of xmas 2008 in Genting seem like just yesterday. Memories still so fresh in the mind; not like others, which faded rather easily.

2009, a year that is rather peaceful or maybe i should say a year which i have completely slowed down. A pace which i didnt knew could be so enjoyable.

2010, a brand new start for all things;
-Japanese Language Intermediate 2 Course
-6 chinese books to complete reading (thanks to traitor)
-4 day week 6modules in my new sem (woohoo~)
-start of my first specialization module (tut room lectures = scary~)

planning for something new on top of my current activities.
will be a tough one though. 船到桥头自然直，有心必行。=）

a continuation of the slow paced lifestyle from 2009
yet at the same time keeping myself busy.
this might be the life i'm really looking for... who knows.

half (or maybe less) bottle of vodka can really "brighten" the atmosphere haha. looking at people's drunk state is really speechless and hilarious especially QJ's non-stop laughter and Jen's zi high.

can we have more of such gatherings? haha. seriously i laughed till i cried.

just got home... and i'm freaking awake. slept for only 2hrs or lesser.
waiting for 2pm to watch Rain's Fashion Concert. interesting concept, tends to draw people's attention like me. =）

i am super tired.... without a reason.
scored a 80% for my maths mid term haha. was expecting a 70% instead.
could have gotten 90% if i din remb the formula wrongly. IF IF IF.... IF only. =P

my body is tired. my eyes are super bloody tired.
even though i sleep 8hrs everyday.
lesser sleep is required as you grow old, maybe my body tissue is older than my actual age
LOL
maybe i should sleep 1hr lesser each day and see the end results.

math asssignment due next monday.
1 online assignment due 13nov.
2 more lab work to do.
2 modules for serious catch up.
and approval for my circuit design before i can build it.

6modules yet i am living life comfortly as compared to my previous 2 semesters.
mentally and physically, i can't adapt haha.

1)

the below post is a situation which happened when i went home from work... probably after reading it some may laugh and think tat it's silly of what i did. haha... but den i felt worth it although things didnt turn out the way i wanted. haha.

after stepping out of the work compound, a family of 4 asked in english where is Little India Arcade. (first thing tat popped out of my mind; Little India has an arcade???? haha) She showed me her map (it was only when i saw the map den i realised they are Japanese haha). So we stood there for quite some time (she cant find the destination she wanted and i cant see LTA anywhere on her map) and finally she pointed on the map. It's just beside the mrt station (in my mind; where is LTA on the map??? for ur info LTA is jus besides the mrt as well... puzzled.)

i took her map and asked the security guard to make sure i'm giving them the right direction. so i led them back where the mrt was and told her to walk further down and it shld be somewhere there. Conincidently, my bus came so we bid farewell and i took the bus. Jus as my bus stopping at the traffic light gonna make a left turn, i saw the building with the words " Little India Arcade". To my horror, it is jus olden shophouses (they shld really change the name).

Here comes the "silly" part; i alighted at the immediate next bus stop and walk back the path where the family supposed to walk. Yup, i went to find them cos tekka market centre is under construction, it's rather dusty and dirty, so jus wanted to make sure they walk the right way. I walked 2 paths, one by the road side and one under the shophouses (i hate to walk there cos there's always so many x10 pairs of eyes staring =S ) To my dissappointment, i din get to find them, but den i still felt happy and worth it though hahaa....

come to think of it, i think it's the experience of getting lost in Japan that made me alight my bus ride. The help that we got when we got lost.... Qin Jun i bet u have the same sentiment as me, and of cos to those who ever got lost in Japan.

we shld be like them.... extending our help as and when.
it's not just another "the grass is greener on the other side of the land" thinking =)

2)

i received 1 and a half compliments today hahaha and it does matter cos it made my day more beautiful.

first was i looked pretty without spectacles. haha!
next one was half a compliment; He (one of the executives) came to me, stared at me and told me i looked pretty with what i wore yesterday. I looked at him, smiled, laughed and said "u came in here jus to tell me that ar...." i was happy for a moment till he said "cos u today (touching the wall) like can blend in together. I laughed even more and gave him quite a loud "what!". He continued, "yesterday's bright colour looks nice" and me, "hmmmm... continued smiling and nodding my head".

cute executive. haha.

went to watch musical play "If There're Seasons... 天冷就回来" last night at National Library Drama Theatre with yj and san. and yup it's amidst my exams haha....

but it's well worth the time.
it's been showing since 17th april and all the way till 10th may. all fully sold out.
the lead actor performed a great show. nice songs, familiar songs..... hilarious moments....

and long-lasting memories.

it's the once in a while meet-ups for meals again. met the traitors for lunch at tamp pizza hut. for once i became the late-comer lol. how rare.

went to watch "coming soon" with fana n qj last nite.

horror movie turned out to be "lots of shocking moment" movie. haha effects are good enuff to shock us though. but i still dun like the ending, the storyline still hanging there. =(

not as good as the movie "shutter"

was talking about all the horror movies we've watch, their conclusion was tat "dorm" was the best (i have no recollection of the movie ahah) mine was "ghost game" (and they forgot about the movie) both were in 2006 leh so long ago le!!!

i have almost all the movie tickets with me except for some =(
so sad. and some of it has words which had already faded away....

spent an hour at central forum after QJ abandoned me for class.... and all i did for tat one hour, sat at the top steps of the forum area; looking at the on-going bazaar, looking at the people and listening to songs.

quite a nice feeling. if i had a cup of coffee with me it would have been perfect! =) no wonder the french love looking at the streets.

new horror movie "coming soon" is showing in cinemas as of TODAY!!!

nice show name.... so "nice" to the point that i tot the advertisement forgot to put the name of the movie. usually the ending of the ad will be the name of the show and the date of release.... but all i see at the end of this ad was "coming soon" hahah...

so i kept thinking it's not gonna be up in cinemas yet, until i saw the review of the movie on the newspaper today. -.-"

from the director of the movie "shuttle", i think it's gonna be quite a nice show to watch based on the stortyline....

Bus 96 actually travelled on the wrong road lane (traffic super jammed up) instead of going to clementi interchange... it travelled on the road tat leads to AYE...

AYE - South Bouna Vista (bouna vista mrt so near yet so far) - ACS - Singapore Poly and it actually went past Dover MRT!!!! how i wish i could alight there - clementi - finally clementi MRT.

wasted my time. luckily i get to travel thru the torture by sitting down. if not i guess my temper would have just flare up. haha...

2 mid term down. 2 more torture to go thru.

Waffle Factory @ Singapore Post, Paya Lebar

waffle buffet @ $8.80 per person, inclusive of a drink. wide variety of waffle, nice, delicious and fluffy waffles but kinda felt kena "cheated" haha cos i ate only 3waffles and i'm totally full. =(

at least i tried the durian waffle. haha not bad.

went to play pool after tat at parkway parade. won 2sets of game and lost one cos the ball 8 went in. well, at least i won 2sets. haha.

a movie caught my attention - slumdog millionaire
i know the movie exist. but din read the review becos of its name. To tell the truth, it's quite insulting.
Sounds of protests becos of the movie name... but read the papers now; protests died off and people are celebrating cos the movie won quite a few Oscars awards.

Human nature. How ironic.

caught my attention not becos it won oscars awards (i dun really care) but the storyline. I found out the storyline only yesterday (It has been showing in cinema for donkey weeks i guess) from a showbiz program.

Applause for the storyline, but i still dun like the movie title.

Today is a horrible day:

#1 - no appetite for breakfast
#2 - forgot to bring lect notes (not first time)
#3 - forgot to print notes even though i wrote in my diary
#4 - no appetite for lunch, ate only half although i'm hungry (took medicine before eating)
#5 - stomach cramp (or wadever i dunno) and puking feeling came immediately after eating lunch, apparently the medicine no longer has its effect on me
#7 - english test with headache
#8 - skipped last one hour lect.... buay tahan. medicine not working and here comes the headache.
#9 - nearly puke out my dinner -.-"

medicine.... been taking the med since last monday (stomach cramp during the whole journey back home at 6pm and i tot it was gastric BUT i ate something at 5pm!), cant eat anything without taking it first cos if i jus eat without the medicine, the puking feeling with bloated feeling (even after many hours) and burping feeling which i cant burp out will all come at one shot.
The feeling sucks.

and.... to my surprise, my bro is gonna protect the nation again! haha and dis time is a 2weeks reservice. So, my mum gonna have the whole room and bed to herself for a week (cos dad is in Vietnam) and me, having the whole room to myself for 2weeks heeheez. half an hour of chingay show had passed. this segment of the performance caught my eyes. Dancing of traditional dragons with people at the sides throwing heated coal (i think) and someone smacking directly at the coal in the air, spliting the coal and sending beautiful sparks into the air.

Nice scene. but i pity the guys doing the dragon dance? haha cos they are all with naked top and dancing in the middle of the sparks!

CNY is not officially over yet, but the holidays are.

That's quite saddening for the fact that...:
1) 30th Jan which is tmr... my lessons starts 9am and ends at only 8pm (the only one hr break i have is at 5pm!)

2) I have school on a saturday (31st) !

3) Dad's leaving for Vietnam on the 1st Feb, coming back on the 8th. (sobz... such good life)

4) I have tons and tons of tutorials to do. (weekends no longer seem to belong to me)

5) this semester seem to be very short.... one more month to mid-term? -.-

oh... and i feel so old to the point that adults seem to have stop giving me red packets for CNY!
they thought that i'm already a working adult just like my brother....
